In 1947, Roswold M. Peterson and his wife, Laura, moved from Minnesota to New Jersey where they established Peterson Stamping and Manufacturing Company, the first short run metal stamping house on the East coast.

Now, second and third generation family continues the highest of standards set by the founders incorporating the latest and most innovative technologies. Rapid short run production (1 to 100,000 pieces) of stampings involving any combination of blanking, piercing and forming… secondary operations including tapping, countersinking and reaming… experimental and development work… product modification… all are Peterson Stamping’s specialties.

Peterson Stamping has an in-house die room featuring a wire EDM, offering high precision tooling. A high definition plasma cutter provides rapid production of parts of up to 1/4 inch thick. A CNC machining center can be used to machine complex dies or produce parts efficiently and accurately. Tolerances as close as +/- .001 are maintained routinely for the aviation, communications, and aerospace industries, as well as for commercial and military applications.

Leaders and innovators for over 65 years, Peterson Stamping is proud of its reputation as an up-to-date, front ranking metal stamper, and retains that position by constantly developing new techniques and procedures to fully meet the advancing needs of our customers.
